I had this posted as being from The Spoilers but I think it's actually from I Take This Woman. He is wearing this same shirt in both films which were made close together but in The Spoilers he seems to have always had in unbuttoned at the top and in I Take This Woman, it's buttoned all the way up. Since I haven't seen either one, I'm putting it in this thread since it looks like it's from this one. I think maybe I have too much time on my hands ;D.

The above photo deserves a math equation: Gary = incredibly beautiful Baby cow = outrageously adorable Gary + baby cow = *mind explosion of visual stunningness *

I love collecting the book versions of Gary's films and just today I got the the book version of I Take This Woman. It was written by Mary Roberts Rinehart and was orginally titled Lost Ecstasy when it was published in 1927. In the 1920s and 30s as a tie in with the films there would often be a book version of the movie released too. If it was a book before it was made into a film it was republished with movie stills inserted into the book. If it was an original story then a book version would be written and again movie stills would be inlcuded in the book. I have collected several of these and I especially like to find ones for lost films or films like this that I have not seen. This film is still in print but decades ago the rights reverted back to the estate of the book's author so the film is privately owned. It still had the dust jacket but it's pretty fragile.

What a beautiful item to add to your collection--I'm honestly jealous (I collect books, and who could say no to one with Coop on the cover?!), but I appreciate the scans you've made.
That dust jacket really does like quite fragile--I'd be afraid to breathe on it!
Enjoy!

Very nice, item, Coopsgirl. I love when items have this vintage touch, even if the dust jacket is fragile. I have some very old books here in my collection, not Gary related though but it's always interesting to flip through them. I love collecting the book versions of Gary's films and just today I got the the book version of I Take This Woman.
