Ah, yes, I've seen these and they were taken during Coop's stay in Germany for the Berlinale in 1952.



I believe this picture you guys have seen. This is when he arrives at Tempelhof airport.

Delphi btw is a movie theater (that was built in the last 1920s and it still exists)

After the Second World War, a new beginning. This was once the home of the famous Delphi Palais dance hall. In 1949, Berliners greeted the opening of a large new cinema with great fanfare



In 1927/1928, the Delphi Palais dance hall was built at the Kantstraße 12a site under the supervision of architect Bernhard Sehring (1 June 1855 - 27 December 1941). Mr. Sehring is also the designer of the famous Theater des Westens adjoining to the right side of the building and which was built many years prior (1895 - 1896).

I wish I knew the year but Gary looks kind of frail and squeezed back into the corner of that room, don't you think?

I found that pic too and I think it's from the early 40s maybe. I locked the multiple years thread b/c I really meant it to be for collages that I find sometimes where people have put multiple pics of Gary from different years together not undated pics.
