I like to imagine you're getting ready to go out to dinner with all your friends, laughing and having a grand ol' time. Wish you were still here...although if you were, you'd have to hire some pretty beefy security guards 'cause there'd he a stampeed of love-struck, googlie-eyed fan girls chasing after you screaming.for just one ounce of attention from you. ...Maybe its better you're at peace. You'd never be safe if we knew where you lived..We're info-a-holics and pretty impressive at finding stuff on google. It'd only be a matter of time... Happy birthday, Gary!

Well said Mrs Cooper......we are lovable stalkers the type of which Gary had never seen before. We'd probably scare the life out of him or we would just show him the utmost respect he so rightly deserves. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARLING GARY

I'm filled with such feelings of bliss today, thinking of Coop and his birthday. A mini film-fest is on the horizon!
Happy Birthday, Gary--may all our well-wishing voices make it up to you, loud and clear, in the heavens!

A pack of lusty, squealing women might scare him at first but I don't think he'd be too upset for long !

Haha, Ang, I don't think he'd be all that angry either. Rocky, on the other hand.... What movies did you guys watch in tribute of his birthday? I watched Deeds, Bluebeard's and John Doe. I could just die of happiness watching him *Melts*

Nice, new banner, Coopsgirl. Every year when you think about a birthday of a long lost loved one what I do is think of the good times you had with this person, cherish those and flip through the photo albums. It's like going back in time, reliving those wonderful moments in your mind. Here's a story. My mother had to see a dear old lady leave this wonderful planet a couple of weeks ago. She was a famous opera singer in the 1940s. She used to wear nice gowns and gloves and I tell you she was pretty. She was a tea aficionado and used to lecture my mom on first flush teas. Anyway, when she was on her deathbed my mom told her how her guys are already fighting over her and are looking forward to seeing her. The old lady died with a grin on her face, the grin that had made her so special the last couple of months my mom used to know her. I'm sure Gary is very happy where he is now. Happy Birthday, dear Gary. It's a very beautiful story, VintageHome... I am sure through the mirror, Life is eternal! As every year... In the afternoon, I bought this bouquet Happy birthday, eternal Gary!

Nice bouquet of flowers, cori. I hope you have it for a very long time. I love the picture, Gary in the outdoors with the sky above his head..I think that's where he liked to be. BTW, I like the shoutbox but it's somewhat confusing at the bottom of the page. In the recently updated posts view you don't get a reply button and form just a quote button in the last post. I always have to remember to open the original post first to reply. Oh well, the challenge! I agree with you, VintageHome! For me who don't speak English well, the new version is somewhat confusing... I have difficulty in spelling the English words and when you write your text ...when you press on the bad button...and when everything fades! Grrrrrrr ! It’s a real challenge! But we are going to make a success! For Gary and for all of us!

His 120th birthday will coming soon. Thinking of what to do to celebrate it. I found his films only this year and love him so much and finally found this site. Thank you for all the info CoopsGirl has put out there. His beauty, his charm, oh my God. I am watching his movies all over on line and bough the Saratoga Trunks on Apple TV. Enjoin every movies and every scene he has out there.
