I thought it would be fun to do a caption contest. I'm going to post a picture and all y'all have to do is come up with a funny comment for it. I'll leave the contest open until next Saturday, the 12th, and then whichever one I think is the funniest will win a prize. The prize for this one will be five of Gary's films on dvd (dvd-r versions). You can choose from any of them listed here: garycooperscrapbook.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=contests&thread=577Here's the picture from The Real Glory (1939). May the funniest caption win! ;D

It's time to announce the winner and it is girlfriday! They were all funny though. Girlfriday, if you'll PM me the five movies you would like and your address I'll get them sent off to you in the next week or so. Thanks everyone for participating.

Oh, wow, thanks so much! I'll be perusing your list of films, and then PMing you as soon as I decide. I can't believe I won, though--what a great "welcome" to this fabulous board!

Thanks, Maggie!
I must say, I wish I had checked out this "Scrapbook" sooner! I've had a great time taking some work breaks and perusing the board, the discussions about Cooper, and, confessedly, ogling the many photographs!

I second that! I've got pics of Gary up in my cube at work and all over my livingroom (movie stills and stuff like that) and I never get tired of looking at him.

That sounds like the type of "working" environment a girl could get used to.

Thanks so much! I haven't a doubt that I'll enjoy the films, and I'll definitely have to write-up some reviews when I have some time. I've had too little time for movie-watching lately (sad but true--work keeps me uber-busy), but I'll definitely take a break for Gary.
