and play the leading lady/other male character in one of Gary's film, which film would you pick and why? The plot, on location shooting, use of your own native tongue/playing a character from a foreign country and trying a foreign accent? Or something else? What exactly would peak your curiousity? Or perhaps you would much rather stay behind the camera and be the director or producer? Maybe the writer, because there's always been something in your favorite film you wish you could have changed?

Good question. I love Barbara Stanwyck's character in Ball of Fire and I especially love that sparkly dress she gets to wear. I'd definitely want to be Sugarpuss! I took dance lessons for 12 years when I was a kid so the dancing part would be fun and it doesn't matter that I can't sing very well b/c Barbara didn't do her own singing anyway . Gary's character is so sweet in that movie too and it bet if was fun for them playing off of each other as very different types of characters.

Hi ItsADogsLife. Thank you for welcoming me to this site and sorry I waited so long to say so, but I am still getting to know how to use the message boards. I love your question and as someone who has already seen all but a couple of his movies (which are available, that is) I would like to be Merle Oberon (forget her character's name) in The Cowboy and The Lady as He swept her off her feet out of nowhere and being opposites sure kept their relationship very interesting. Also, I would have loved to be her on that ship, when late at night, they share that kiss in his compartment. There's nothing I did not like about this movie. I adore Walter Brennan as well and think he and Coop played off each other perfectly.
